Sustainability at IFAT: Go Green, act green.
With our processing solutions, we actively contribute to environmental protection. For us, it’s clear: We also ensure that the Doppstadt booth at IFAT is designed with sustainability in mind.
This year at IFAT, we are pursuing an important goal that is close to the hearts of the entire Doppstadt team: 90 percent of our booth will be reusable. From the conception of the exhibition space to the tableware, we are consistently striving to protect the environment.
Reusable glass elements: sustainable and modern
A key element of our booth consists of 14 containers, that are clothed partially in glass. Like LEGO bricks, they can be assembled individually and reused time and again. For the central atrium, we are utilizing a reusable tent for the first time. This year, we have decided not to construct a building as we did in the previous fair, which would be specifically tailored for a single appearance. This approach is not only sustainable but also functional and contemporary.
Our green trade show concept is further grounded by the use of gravel or wooden panels for the trade show floor. Both durable and versatile, they can be reused for future events or in other contexts.
Thoroughly planned down to the last detail
Even the small details contribute to achieving our ambitious goal. We completely forgo printed materials such as brochures or flyers and opt for the digital approach. There is no disposable tableware in the catering – instead, we use porcelain plates and glasses. The cups are designed for reuse and can accompany visitors home, serving as a pleasant reminder of IFAT.
