THE FUTURE OF RECYCLING

The Doppstadt Group displayed smart processing solutions for waste management and recycling at IFAT from 30 May to 3 June 2022. For the first time ever, Doppstadt was located entirely on the outdoor exhibition grounds of Messe München. On 1,700 square metres of open-air space, the expert for environmental technology were showcasing its latest products, including the flexible METHOR multitool and the mobile-modular processing concept.

Doppstadt was also pointing the way towards a more efficient future with electrified drives. Presentations of the new Doppstadt Academy as well as the Aftersales, Used Machinery and Recruiting divisions rounded out the wide-ranging supporting programme.

FLEXIBLE, ECONOMICAL AND EFFICIENT: THE DOPPSTADT SOLUTIONS

MOBILE-MODULAR PROCESSING CONCEPT

The Doppstadt mobile-modular processing concept offers an impressive degree of flexibility. This involves linking standard machines in a smart and efficient manner. The machines can be used flexibly with different fractions. Furthermore, companies can react quickly with new combinations if general conditions change. Customers benefit from high efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Processing solutions for commercial, construction and organic waste will be presented at IFAT, all of which have already proven their value in the market many times over.

SMART SHREDDING WITH THE MULTITOOL METHOR

METHOR is a key feature of the exhibition. This unrivalled single-roll shredder for small volume flows and special batches can be flexibly adapted to an extremely wide range of applications, making it the most versatile in its class.

Diverse shredding systems are featured in the exhibition. Also on display are attachments that combine the METHOR with other process technologies, like wind sifting and spiral shafts.

THE SMART SOLUTION FOR A GREATER FUTURE – WITH AN ELECTRIC DRIVE FOR ENHANCED EFFICIENCY

In view of current trends and developments in drive technology and in light of global warming, major steps are being taken to utilise electric drives not only in the area of road and freight transport but also in mobile work equipment. ‘We are currently working on the electrification of our entire machine portfolio,’ explains Gerd Schreier, Managing Director of the Doppstadt Group. ‘We want to make a valuable contribution to climate and environmental protection with our cutting-edge processing systems.’

With electrified drives, the Doppstadt Group is guiding its customers along the path towards a more efficient and economical future. The advantages are obvious. These machines do not need to be refuelled, meaning that they are always ready for operation. Electricity – especially self-generated power – is cheaper than diesel and does not need to be stored. Another savings potential lies in the significantly reduced service costs thanks to lower maintenance requirements. The bottom line: this is an investment in the future that pays off for everyone involved.
